Compressor Sales Manager

About the role

The Compressor Sales Manager leads the sales function for compressor solutions, driving new business and expanding relationships with existing customers. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver revenue growth and ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all compressor sales activities.
• Develop sales strategies and achieve defined sales and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and negotiate contracts with customers.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs and field service activities.
• Supervise, coach and monitor the performance of the sales team.
• Monitor customer requirements, market trends and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with parts, procurement, operations and other departments.
• Ensure timely response to customer inquiries, complaints and service needs.
• Track sales performance, service costs and departmental KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements and manufacturer standards.
• Prepare regular sales and service performance reports.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial position.
• Proven track record in industrial or machinery sales, preferably with compressors or related equipment.
• Strong customer‑relationship management and negotiation abilities.
• Solid understanding of technical product features and ability to interpret specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information and preparing structured proposals.
• Analytical mindset to assess market trends, identify opportunities and contribute to business‑development plans.
