Bid Project Manager

About the role

The Bid Project Manager will lead best‑practice approaches and high‑quality bid delivery, working both advisory and hands‑on across complex proposals. The role requires strong stakeholder management, constructive challenge and an outcome‑focused mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Lead best‑practice approach and execution of proposals, tenders and bid responses.
• Review procurement documentation, lead go/no‑go discussions and plan compelling offers.
• Mobilise internal stakeholders, set timelines and oversee execution as bid manager.
• Facilitate discussions on differentiators, win themes and ensure high‑quality answers.
• Collaborate with functional teams, external partners and senior leadership to deliver bids.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, governance and submission deadlines.
• Support business development activities such as competitor research and market analysis.
• Report on pipeline, bid conversion and maintain content libraries.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Business, Marketing, English or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in bid management and successful bid writing.
• APMP accreditation desired or willingness to obtain.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to challenge constructively.
• Excellent organisational, proofreading and communication skills.
