Customer Service Officer (Maker) – Dessie District

About the role

The Customer Service Officer (Maker) will provide front‑office support at the branch in Dessie District. The role involves handling account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, and responding to customer enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash and non‑cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain and update account records.
• Handle payments, collections, and related documentation.
• Respond to client enquiries and provide basic advice on banking products.
• Use the core banking system for all transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with bank accounting procedures and internal policies.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (e.g., Marketing, Management, Accounting, Economics, IT) with a CGPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Fresh graduate of the 2025 or 2026 Ethiopian Calendar.
• Age 25 or younger, with no prior work experience required.
• Willingness to complete a six‑month intensive training program.
• Degree certificate, grade certificates (8th, 10th, 12th), CV, and application letter must be submitted; birth certificate required if age is not shown on grade certificates.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to operate the bank’s core banking system.
• Basic understanding of general financial products and bank accounting procedures.
