District Multi-Sectoral Program Coordinator

About the role

The District Multi-Sectoral Program Coordinator will oversee the implementation of the RISE project at field level, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines, World Vision policies, and governmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor field‑level activities to ensure rigorous execution of the RISE project.
• Supervise the field project officer and support sectorial activities, addressing challenges promptly.
• Maintain networking with local coordination bodies, Woreda and Zonal government offices, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit financial and narrative reports to the project manager and relevant authorities.
• Develop operation plans and regular progress reports for project managers and government offices.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in coordination or management, preferably in NGOs.
• BA/BSc degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies, WASH or related fields.
• Experience with USAID/BHA or EHF funded projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Program management and participatory monitoring & evaluation.
• Community participation, Participatory Rural Appraisal and Participatory Learning & Action.
• Fluent oral and written English.
