Emergency Response Coordinator

About the role

The Emergency Response Coordinator leads the national implementation of a grant‑funded program, ensuring that project activities align with donor requirements and local needs. This fixed‑term position reports to the Institutional Grants Team and works closely with a national Steering Committee, local partners, and the transition partner.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the country management team to contextualize and deliver the program model.
• Coordinate with local partners, the Steering Committee, donors, and the Institutional Grants Team.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with audit requirements.
• Manage staff recruitment, performance, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Advocate for child protection, ensuring all decisions prioritize child safety and reporting any concerns.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and transition or close‑out activities.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Proven experience managing grant‑funded or humanitarian programs at a national level.
• Excellent project‑management and budgeting skills.
