Executive Chef – International Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a premium catering and events business in Addis Ababa. The role demands creativity, strong multicuisine expertise, and the ability to deliver high‑end dining experiences for corporate, diplomatic and VIP clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary activities across catering, banqueting and large‑scale events.
• Design innovative multicuisine menus and signature dishes for diverse client segments.
• Manage high‑volume kitchen production, live cooking stations and event‑day execution.
• Control food costs, inventory, waste and ensure strict compliance with food‑safety standards.
• Lead, train and mentor the kitchen brigade, fostering teamwork and high performance.
• Collaborate with event planners, procurement and management to guarantee seamless service.

Required profile

• 12+ years of culinary experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in premium catering, large events and multicultural environments.
• Strong background in international and multicuisine cooking.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
