Executive Chef – International Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a premium catering and events business in Addis Ababa. The role demands creativity, strong multicuisine expertise, and the ability to deliver high‑end experiences for corporate, diplomatic and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all culinary activities across catering, banqueting and large‑scale events.
• Design innovative multicuisine menus and signature dishes for VIP and high‑profile functions.
• Oversee live cooking stations, food presentation and plating techniques.
• Control food quality, portion sizes, cost, inventory and waste.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food‑safety and sanitation standards.
• Train, mentor and schedule the kitchen brigade.
• Coordinate with event planners, procurement and service teams to guarantee seamless execution.

Required profile

• 12+ years of culinary experience, including senior or executive chef roles.
• Proven track record in multicuisine catering, premium hospitality and large‑scale events.
• International exposure and experience working with multicultural teams.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and pressure‑management abilities.
