Facility Management Division Manager

About the role

The Facility Management Division Manager will lead the facility operations of Nile Insurance Company, ensuring that all building services, maintenance and engineering functions run efficiently and safely. This senior position reports to senior management and is responsible for strategic planning, budgeting and performance monitoring across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of facility management, including building services, maintenance and engineering.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage a team of supervisors and technicians, providing coaching, performance reviews and resource planning.
• Prepare and control the division budget, monitor expenditures and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to ensure quality delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree or 9 years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years in a management or senior supervisory role within facility operations, building services or engineering services.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, regulatory compliance and budget management.
