Field Program Implementation Consultant – Ethiopia

About the role

Last Mile Health is seeking a Consultant to lead field program implementation in Ethiopia. The consultant will enhance the capacity of health professionals by coordinating blended learning initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring financial accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop instructional design frameworks, facilitator guides, assessments and learning materials aligned with Ministry of Health content.
• Facilitate communication and coordination with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) centers, including execution of MoUs.
• Plan and monitor budgets, track training expenditures and review financial reports for program efficiency.
• Provide technical support to contract‑based field implementers and oversee delivery of blended training sessions for Health Extension Workers.
• Develop and quality‑check new blended learning modules and instructional content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in field program coordination, community health or capacity‑building interventions.
• Familiarity with national and sub‑national health systems and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to mentor and guide field implementers.
