Senior Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join the Technical Service Department in Addis Ababa. The role involves hands‑on installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and after‑sales support of advanced medical equipment, ensuring reliable operation for healthcare providers across Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level technical support for installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of medical imaging and laboratory equipment.
• Handle complex service cases, diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Develop and document preventive‑maintenance programs and service procedures.
• Support turnkey healthcare projects, including customer training and on‑site assistance.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in medical equipment installation and after‑sales service.
• Proven experience with Digital X‑Ray systems (DR/CR) and Medical Laboratory equipment (PMLS/IVD).
• Experience supporting CT‑Scan installation and maintenance is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and technical problem‑solving abilities.
