Field Sales Representative (IT Solutions)

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will drive sales of Betolo IT Solutions’ technology products across Addis Ababa and surrounding areas. Working on‑site, you will engage new and existing customers, understand their needs and present tailored IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue sales leads through prospecting and market research.
• Visit client locations, conduct product demonstrations and present solution proposals.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, close deals and ensure accurate documentation of sales activities.
• Collaborate with internal delivery and support teams to guarantee smooth implementation.
• Provide ongoing account support and gather market feedback to improve offerings.
• Report regularly on sales performance, market trends and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Proven sales and negotiation abilities, preferably in field or outside sales within the IT sector.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English and Amharic.
• Strong organizational and time‑management capabilities, able to plan client visits and manage pipelines.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools and CRM or sales‑tracking systems.
• Proactive, results‑oriented and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field preferred; minimum 2 years of ERP sales experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Addis Ababa and nearby areas.
