Field Sales Representative

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will work on‑the‑ground in Addis Ababa to prospect, qualify and convert business opportunities for Niyat’s product and commercial lines. This is a full‑time, on‑site position that starts with a three‑month evaluation contract, with the potential to move into a permanent, commission‑based role for high performers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential client organisations through market research and first‑contact outreach.
• Book and attend meetings, conduct product demonstrations and answer initial client questions.
• Move opportunities through the sales cycle to signed contracts, providing diligent follow‑up.
• Support senior sellers on larger deals and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
• Work to KPIs set by the Sales Supervisor and continuously improve product and sales‑process knowledge.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business, IT, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year sales experience; recent graduates with strong aptitude are also considered.
• Excellent communication skills in both Amharic and English.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on relationship management.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with CRM tools.
