Cashier – Full‑time, On‑site in Addis Ababa

About the role

The Cashier role at MeQrez Health Services is a full‑time, on‑site position in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. You will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and providing courteous service at the front of house.

Key responsibilities

• Receive payments, issue receipts and process cash, card and digital payments.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Maintain clear records of all transactions.
• Assist customers with payment‑related questions and provide courteous service.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve billing or pricing issues.
• Follow company policies for cash handling and support basic administrative sales tasks.
• Help ensure a safe and organized front‑of‑house environment.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting.
• At least 1 year of cash handling or related experience.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reliability and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Addis Ababa and collaborate with a diverse team.
• Basic computer literacy for recording transactions and preparing simple reports.
