About the role

The Final Evaluator will lead the closing assessment of the EU‑funded LISEC – Green Jobs in the Leather sector project implemented in Modjo, Ethiopia. This role ensures that the project’s outcomes are measured against its objectives and that findings are documented for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive final evaluation of the LISEC project, covering all three outcomes.
Analyse project data, reports and field observations to assess impact on green employment, waste management and social cohesion.
Prepare a detailed evaluation report with evidence‑based recommendations for future initiatives.
Coordinate with project partners (IRC, Solidaridad) and local stakeholders to validate findings.

Required profile

Proven experience in evaluating development or EU‑funded projects.
Familiarity with the leather sector, circular economy principles and green job creation.
Understanding of gender, youth inclusion and social cohesion issues in Ethiopia.
