Finance Accountant

About the role

The Finance Accountant will join East Africa Bottling Share Company in Ethiopia, reporting to the Country Lead Financial Control. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the company’s financial reporting, asset management, taxation and governance frameworks. It also provides financial insights to support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage asset accounting, taxation compliance and governance processes.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and capital management procedures.
• Prepare statutory reports and support external audit activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality financial insights.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in finance operations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial accounting, statutory reporting and IFRS.
• Experience with asset management, taxation and governance frameworks.
• Ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with focus on accuracy and compliance.
