About the role
The Finance and Admin Officer will support the Joint Secretariat Support Office (PJSS) within the African Development Bank Group, reporting directly to the President. The role combines financial administration, budgeting, reporting, and general administrative duties to ensure efficient use of Bank resources.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor the administrative budget for the PJSS, contributing to centralized budget planning.
- Establish procedures and controls to improve service efficiency, identify cost savings, and ensure compliance with internal control rules.
- Upload and verify accounting entries in SAP, and review monthly financial reports for audit readiness.
- Facilitate travel arrangements, procurement of tickets, and processing of travel claims for staff.
- Manage office staff benefits, assist with consultant recruitment, and oversee procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain office facilities, inventory, and property in line with Bank standards.
