Fleet & Warehouse Officer

About the role

The Fleet & Warehouse Officer will manage daily fleet and warehouse operations for the Semera Field Office, ensuring safe vehicle use, timely maintenance, and efficient handling of programme supplies. This role supports logistics planning, supervises drivers, and guarantees compliance with Save the Children and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day fleet activities, supervise drivers, and assign vehicle movements based on operational priorities.
• Maintain vehicle documentation, service records, safety equipment, and produce monthly fleet reports.
• Oversee warehouse functions: receive, store, dispatch, and record programme supplies and assets.
• Maintain warehouse records (GRNs, waybills, bin cards, stock cards) and ensure accurate inventory control.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, compliance with fleet policies, and warehouse safety and cleanliness.
• Prepare and submit monthly warehouse and stock reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in fleet, warehouse or supply‑chain management.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, warehouse management, compliance and risk management.
