Join a rapidly growing retail leader in Ethiopia! We are seeking a high-caliber General Manager to spearhead our supermarket operations, driving excellence across all departments and ensuring a premium shopping experience for our customers.

Missions principales

• Operational Leadership: Oversee full-scale supermarket operations including Food, Non-Food, Bakery, Fresh Produce, Butchery, and Household goods.
• Financial Performance: Drive sales growth, maximize profitability, and implement rigorous cost control measures.
• Supply Chain & Merchandising: Manage vendor relationships, optimize inventory levels, and execute strategic merchandising plans.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and security standards across all departments.
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reporting systems, and operational frameworks.
• Team Management: Lead, coach, and empower diverse teams through training and accountability to foster a high-performance culture.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior management to contribute to long-term business strategy and expansion projects.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Operations Manager within the retail or supermarket sector.
• Strong expertise in managing diverse product categories (Fresh, Grocery, Non-food).
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and drive operational excellence.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to daily retail challenges.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
