Grade 3 Branch Manager

About the role

The Grade 3 Branch Manager will lead an up‑country branch of Hibret Insurance, overseeing the delivery of insurance products and services while driving business growth in the assigned region. This position requires strong knowledge of insurance offerings and the ability to manage both people and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead branch operations to meet sales and service targets.
• Promote and market insurance products and services to existing and prospective clients.
• Drive marketing and selling activities in line with company strategies.
• Build, coach, and supervise a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Seven to eight years of post‑qualification insurance experience, including at least two years as a Grade 3 up‑country branch manager.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of insurance products and services.
• Acceptable marketing and selling skills.
• Team‑building capabilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Written and spoken English proficiency.
• Excellent computer skills.
• CII certification (advantageous).
