About the role
The Grade 4 Branch Manager will lead the insurance branch in Addis Ababa, overseeing daily operations and driving business growth. The role requires strong knowledge of insurance products, marketing, and team leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day branch operations.
- Promote and sell insurance products to meet targets.
- Lead, coach and develop the branch team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- BA or BSc in Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.
- Six years of post‑qualification insurance experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role or three years as a senior officer.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of insurance products and services.
- Marketing and selling skills.
- Team‑building abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent computer skills.
- CII certification is an advantage.
