Hotel Manager – Adama

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, results‑driven Hotel Manager to lead daily operations at our property in Adama. The role involves overseeing all departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue while complying with Ethiopian hospitality regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Security.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, resolve escalated guest issues, and implement strategies to increase repeat bookings.
• Manage budgets, control operating costs, oversee procurement and inventory, and set pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, continuous training, and performance evaluations for all hotel staff.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, sanitation, licensing, and labor laws.
• Develop promotional campaigns and build partnerships with corporate clients, tour operators, and event planners along the Addis–Adama corridor.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven managerial or supervisory experience in the hotel or hospitality sector.
• Fluency in Amharic, Afaan Oromoo and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Experience using POS software.
• Competence with standard office tools.
