HR Manager – Manufacturing Facility (Ethiopia)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead all human‑resource activities at our manufacturing plant in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will shape HR strategy, ensure compliance with local labour law, and nurture a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of staff.
• Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian labour laws and regulations.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
• Administer payroll, benefits, and attendance systems.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Promote safety, health, and well‑being initiatives within the facility.
• Collaborate with senior management on workforce planning and development.
• Conduct performance appraisals and identify training needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of Ethiopian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
