Human Resources Administrator Specialist (HRD)

About the role

Ethio Telecom is looking for a full‑time Human Resources Administrator Specialist (HRD) to join its team in Addis Ababa. The specialist will oversee core HR processes, ensure compliance with Ethiopian labour legislation, manage employee benefits and keep the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor employee benefits programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Ensure HR practices comply with local labour laws and company policies.
• Support HR management initiatives and assist in developing HR policies.
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Proficiency in HR practices and HR management.
• Experience with benefits administration.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
• Good understanding of labour and employment law.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in telecommunications or a similar industry is a plus.
