Junior Customer Service Officer

About the role

Siinqee Bank SC is seeking a Junior Customer Service Officer to join its Addis Ababa branch. This full‑time, on‑site position involves welcoming clients, answering inquiries, and delivering accurate information about the bank’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to their questions in a courteous manner.
• Process routine account requests, transactions, and basic issue resolution.
• Document interactions, update customer records, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Refer complex or specialized cases to the appropriate department.
• Support branch operations and contribute to service‑quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across diverse customers.
• Commitment to high customer‑satisfaction levels through active listening and follow‑up.
• Basic knowledge of banking products and a willingness to learn new systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and relevant local languages.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Banking or a related field is preferred.
