Junior Marketing Executive

About the role

The Junior Marketing Executive will support Ablaze Labs’ innovation‑focused marketing strategy. Working on‑site in Addis Ababa, you will assist in planning and executing campaigns, creating basic marketing materials, and helping to raise brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyse customer and competitor insights.
• Prepare reports and support market planning activities.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing efforts.
• Create basic marketing materials and content for various channels.
• Participate in events, outreach activities, and promotional initiatives as needed.
• Work closely with senior team members to learn, grow, and contribute to overall marketing goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional marketing experience.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and basic email‑marketing tools.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic analytical mindset with willingness to interpret data.
• Effective time‑management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• High creativity, proactive initiative and eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic knowledge or coursework in SEO, content marketing and Google Analytics.
