Junior Marketing Officer - Ethiopia

About the role

Lesaffre, a global player in fermentation with 11,000 employees, is looking for a Junior Marketing Officer in Ethiopia. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and functionally to the Middle East and East Africa Marketing Manager, you will drive growth, visibility and market impact in Ethiopia, turning insights into actions and activating brands to support commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a local marketing roadmap aligned with Middle East & East Africa priorities and business objectives, identifying growth opportunities and priority product categories.
• Design and run end-to-end marketing campaigns with clear objectives and measurable impact, lead trade marketing and field activations, and ensure consistent brand execution.
• Lead local digital and social media activations, manage media executions and campaign rollouts with agency support, and create high-impact product, educational and technical content including video and training materials.
• Contribute to product development and launch initiatives, from positioning to go-to-market execution.
• Manage the annual marketing budget, track campaign performance, ROI and key indicators, and deliver clear monthly reports to local and regional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in marketing, communication or business.
• First experience in a communication, advertising or digital agency, ideally in a fast-paced or FMCG environment.
• Fluent in English (written or spoken).
