Junior Software Engineer / Technical Operations Associate

About the role

Hirearky is looking for an entry‑level Software Engineer who will also act as a Technical Operations Associate in its Bole office. You will support CRM systems, database management, integrations, email marketing tools, and internal technology projects while working on U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update CRM databases.
• Maintain CRM workflows and automations.
• Support integrations between CRM, email marketing tools, and internal platforms.
• Assist with email marketing setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Perform data cleanup, reporting, and technical documentation.
• Support internal software, operations, and recruiting technology projects.
• Handle ad‑hoc technical and business tasks.
• Learn new systems and tools as the company grows.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of software engineering, IT, or technical experience.
• Degree or coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred).
• Basic programming knowledge in any language.
• Basic understanding of databases, spreadsheets, or CRM systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and reliable schedule.
• Willingness to learn new tools quickly.
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours from Ethiopia.
