Logistics Manager – Coffee Export Operations

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead the end‑to‑end execution of coffee export contracts, ensuring shipments are planned, documented and settled efficiently. This role is the central hub between commercial teams, third‑party exporters, shipping lines, banks and other service providers, driving operational excellence while mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full shipment lifecycle for coffee exports, including container booking, vessel scheduling and loading.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of purchase and sales contracts and maintain loading schedules.
• Oversee preparation, verification and distribution of all export documentation (Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, COO, Phytosanitary certificates, etc.).
• Guarantee compliance with destination‑country regulations, client requirements and trade documentation standards, including EUDR data.
• Monitor logistics costs, identify efficiency opportunities and support cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Maintain accurate contract and shipment data in company systems and manage related financial processes.
• Supervise logistics staff, drive continuous improvement and proactively mitigate execution risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing coffee export logistics or similar commodity export operations.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to coordinate with internal commercial teams, shipping lines, banks and external service providers.
• Analytical mindset for cost monitoring and performance analysis.
