TSFP Warehouse Officer – Goljano Woreda

About the role

The TSFP Warehouse Officer will manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of food commodities for the Goljano and surrounding woredas. The role ensures proper warehouse conditions, accurate documentation, and timely distribution to community mini‑stores.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, security, and safety while ensuring adequate space and equipment for commodity handling.
• Receive food shipments, verify waybills, and update ledger and stack cards for every transaction.
• Prepare and dispatch commodities to mini‑stores according to approved distribution plans, coordinating with transporters in advance.
• Conduct regular inspections, apply FIFO practices, and manage damaged or lost items with proper reporting within 72 hours.
• Oversee mini‑store operations, including community mobilization, quality checks, and secure storage of received commodities.
• Compile and submit monthly reports on commodity movements, ensuring alignment with program data and beneficiary records.

Required profile

• BSc or College Diploma in Nursing or another health‑related field.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience, including at least two years in an NGO setting.
• Experience in nutrition or health program implementation, data collection, and training of health workers.
• Fluency in the local language and strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness and ability to work in remote or insecure environments.
