Marketing Director – Fintech & Institutional Growth

About the role

We are seeking a senior marketing leader to drive growth across our AI, fintech, banking and healthcare software portfolio. The role focuses on building strategic relationships with Ethiopian financial institutions, telecom operators, ministries and donor agencies to expand our institutional footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Lead marketing and growth strategy for the entire AIT portfolio.
• Open and manage relationships with banks, MFIs, telecoms, ministries and donor agencies in Ethiopia.
• Position AI, fintech, banking and healthcare solutions for institutional buyers.
• Build a demand generation engine that fuels enterprise sales conversations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technology marketing, enterprise sales, fintech or digital transformation, with senior‑level exposure preferred.
• Demonstrable network within Ethiopia’s financial, telecom or government sectors.
• Working knowledge of the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MInT), EthSwitch, INSA and the relevant regulatory environment.
• Fluency in Amharic and English; additional languages such as Tigrinya, Afaan Oromo or Somali are a plus.
