National Program Analyst – Women Peace & Humanitarian Fund

About the role

The Women Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) National Programme Analyst will support UN Women’s Ethiopia Country Office in managing and overseeing the WPHF grant portfolio. Reporting to the Deputy Country Representative, the analyst will ensure effective implementation of programmes that address the specific needs of women and girls in humanitarian contexts across Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full grant cycle for WPHF-funded projects, including proposal review, approval, monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate with the WPHF National Steering Committee and implementing CSOs to ensure compliance with UN Women policies and donor requirements.
• Prepare and analyse programme data, financial reports and performance indicators for senior management and donors.
• Provide technical guidance to partners on gender‑responsive humanitarian programming and women’s economic empowerment initiatives.
• Support the development of strategic plans, budgets and work plans aligned with UN Women’s 2026‑2030 priorities.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in international development, gender studies, public administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in programme or grant management within humanitarian or development settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of UN Women’s mandate, gender‑based analysis and the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills.
