About the role
PATH is seeking an Operations and Logistics Support Officer to provide program support for the REACH Malaria project in Ethiopia. The officer will coordinate workshops, meetings, travel and logistics, and will assist with the preparation of project documents and reports.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the PATH Ethiopia logistics officer to arrange transportation for staff, goods and equipment.
- Process fuel advance requests, maintain log sheets, receipts and vehicle reports, and monitor vehicle utilization and maintenance.
- Track and update project stock records, asset registers and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Assist in planning and coordinating operational activities, including office administration, field sites, meetings, workshops and travel arrangements.
- Support procurement by sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase requests and orders, following up with vendors and maintaining procurement files.
- Compile training payment documents and review purchase requisitions.
- Prepare periodic logistics and operations reports, maintain inventory, asset and vehicle records, and monitor performance indicators.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in logistics, procurement, operations or supply chain management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal abilities.
