Planning Engineer – Transmission Line (Ethiopia & Guinea)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our client for transmission line projects in Ethiopia and Guinea. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project schedules for high‑voltage transmission lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather data and support planning activities.
• Analyze project requirements and constraints to create efficient and achievable project plans.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and update schedules accordingly.
• Prepare progress reports, performance summaries, and presentations for management review.

Required profile

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Civil Engineering (Regular).
• Proficient in Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
• Experience with transmission line projects above 220 kV.
