Procurement Services Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term, Addis Ababa

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Procurement Services Manager (P-4) on a fixed‑term basis to lead and strengthen large‑scale procurement activities for its Ethiopia Country Office. The role is pivotal in managing partnerships, supporting national supply‑chain systems and ensuring effective procurement across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Procurement Services portfolio, including planning, forecasting, partnership development, implementation, project management and monitoring.
• Establish linkages between supply‑system strengthening, programme implementation and country/regional priorities.
• Engage with government entities, development partners, banks, implementing partners and programme sections on procurement and supply‑chain matters.
• Capture early insights on emerging requirements and translate them into procurement service requests.
• Promote internal and external awareness of UNICEF’s procurement services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, International Development, Health or related fields.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply management, international procurement, supply‑chain management, logistics, project management or public procurement.
