Procurement Services Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term, Addis Ababa

About the role

The Procurement Services Manager will lead the procurement function for UNICEF's Ethiopia Country Office, strengthening partnerships and supporting national supply‑chain system development. This senior position is responsible for delivering strategic procurement services and building capacity across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement services portfolio, including planning, forecasting, implementation, project management and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with government agencies, development partners, banks, implementing partners and programme sections.
• Integrate procurement activities with supply‑chain system strengthening and programme priorities at country and regional levels.
• Promote internal and external awareness of UNICEF’s procurement services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, International Development, Health or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supply chain or related areas.
