Project Coordinator – Green Growth Project

About the role

SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of its Green Growth Project. The initiative aims to boost economic participation and resilience of disadvantaged youth, especially young women, in Addis Ababa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, budgets and timelines in line with organisational policies.
• Oversee day‑to‑day implementation of project activities, ensuring alignment with mission and resources.
• Conduct regular monitoring, data collection and evaluation to measure impact and inform adjustments.
• Engage and coordinate with key stakeholders, including donors, local government and community organisations.
• Prepare progress reports and ensure compliance with safeguarding and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and project management experience.
• Demonstrated passion for sustainable development and youth empowerment.
• Ability to work with disadvantaged youth, particularly young women, in an Ethiopian context.
• Commitment to uphold child and youth safeguarding policies.
