Roving Finance & HR Manager – Addis Ababa (M/F)

About the role

Solidarités International is seeking a dynamic Finance & HR Manager to travel between its headquarters in Addis Ababa and field bases in Lalibela, Motta and Adwa. The roving manager will support programme implementation by ensuring sound financial management and effective human‑resource services across the project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting and donor compliance for all field bases.
• Manage payroll, recruitment, staff contracts and performance appraisal processes.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, expense claims and cash transfers.
• Coordinate with the Surge Support Services Coordinator and Field Coordinator to align administrative procedures with programme needs.
• Provide training and capacity‑building for local staff on finance and HR policies.
• Monitor internal controls and support audits.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in finance, accounting, business administration or human resources.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and HR management, preferably in humanitarian or NGO settings.
• Strong knowledge of donor regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and work in challenging environments.
