Sales Manager – Integrated Commercial Solutions

About the role

The Sales Manager will drive consistent sales growth and achieve revenue, profitability and market share targets within the assigned territory. This role involves leading a motivated team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training and performance feedback to ensure effective territory coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned sales, revenue, profitability and market share targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision makers.
• Analyse regional performance data, identify trends and create multi‑channel business plans.
• Coach the field sales team on customer targeting, territory call plans and KPI monitoring.
• Lead performance management discussions and participate in recruitment of medical representatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance the customer journey and channel feedback.
• Promote a transparent, results‑focused culture that meets sales commitments.
• Compile and update the Sales Operating Plan after each quarterly review.
• Support marketing forecasts for core products and manage expense budgets.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Sales, Marketing or Business.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• At least 2 years of sales management experience leading a pharmaceutical sales team.
• Experience in market pharmacy & hospital environment and handling key accounts in Ethiopia.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting sales targets.
• Ability to engage, collaborate and influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong project management and multitasking capabilities.
