About the role
Ethiopian Steel PLC is looking for a dynamic Sales Officer – Projects to drive B2B sales of steel products. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate customers in construction, manufacturing and industrial sectors while expanding existing relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction, manufacturing and industrial projects.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and follow up on orders.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare periodic sales and customer‑feedback reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related field.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in steel, construction materials or industrial products.
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.

- Proficiency with WhatsApp for business communication.
- Proficiency with Telegram for business communication.
- Proficiency with Email for business communication.
