Senior Associate, Clinical AI

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is expanding its Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiative to improve health delivery, patient and provider experiences, and system efficiency in low‑ and middle‑income countries. The Senior Associate, Clinical AI will contribute to the design, implementation, and scaling of clinical AI solutions that support CHAI’s mission to save lives and reduce disease burden.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and deployment of AI‑driven clinical tools across CHAI programs.
• Collaborate with country partners, health ministries, and technical teams to ensure AI solutions are aligned with local health system needs.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and validation to inform AI model performance and impact.
• Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge‑sharing activities for AI implementation.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical AI interventions to guide continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in strengthening health systems or implementing health‑technology solutions.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and the potential of AI to enhance health outcomes.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary, multicultural environments and engage with government and private‑sector partners.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to data quality and ethical considerations.
