Senior Officer, POS Services

About the role

The Senior Officer, POS Services will ensure uninterrupted merchant services and efficient card banking operations for Zemen Bank. This technical, operations‑focused position manages the full lifecycle of point‑of‑sale (POS) administration, Mastercard transaction processing and settlement workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous merchant services and oversee card banking operations.
• Handle end‑to‑end POS administration, including configuration of POS infrastructure and systems.
• Manage Mastercard transaction processing and settlement workflows.
• Process critical transaction files accurately and within required timeframes.
• Resolve complex user requests and technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with financial standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor and optimise POS system performance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to POS operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years at an Officer‑level position.
