Senior Platform Development and Integration Officer

About the role

The Senior Platform Development and Integration Officer will lead the design and delivery of complex integration solutions that connect multiple banking platforms. Reporting to senior technology leadership, this role ensures seamless data flow and API reliability across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of integration architectures that link diverse systems and enable sophisticated data exchange.
• Manage APIs as products throughout their lifecycle, from launch to retirement, with clear roadmaps and success metrics.
• Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation, developer guides, and reference materials.
• Define API versioning strategies and communicate changes to internal and external developers.
• Collaborate with the partnership team to translate partner requirements into technical specifications.
• Mentor integration developers, fostering skill growth and professional development.

Required profile

• First‑degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in integration architecture and API management.
• High operational accuracy and strict adherence to National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) standards.
