Strategy Assistant – SAP Strategy Implementation

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Strategy Assistant to support the rollout of SAP Strategy 100 Phase Two. Working closely with the Director of Programs and the Senior Management Team, you will translate the strategic action plan into concrete operational plans across technical sectors and regional offices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in converting SAP Strategy 100 Phase Two into actionable implementation plans for technical sectors and regional offices.
• Monitor progress against SAP milestones, compile consolidated reports, and flag risks or delays.
• Coordinate with the Director of Programs and senior leaders to ensure alignment and timely execution of the strategic plan.
• Support the preparation of briefing materials and updates for senior management.
• Facilitate communication between program teams, regional offices, and the senior management team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multi‑sector environment.
• Commitment to the IRC’s mission and values, including gender equality and safeguarding.

Required skills

• SAP (knowledge of SAP Strategy implementation)
