Supply Chain Director

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Director to lead the end-to-end supply chain function for TOPPAN Security in Addis Ababa. The role combines strategic planning with operational oversight across procurement, logistics, customs, inventory, and warehouse management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives, demand forecasts and financial targets.
• Own annual and quarterly operating plans, budgets, risk registers and performance scorecards.
• Establish policies, procedures, service levels and escalation routes for procurement, logistics, customs and supplier management.
• Identify and deliver cost-reduction, working-capital improvement, lead-time reduction and risk-mitigation initiatives.
• Lead and manage the Supply Chain and Logistics teams across locations, defining clear role ownership, work plans and KPIs.
• Allocate resources, monitor task progress and intervene early to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis, benchmarking and root-cause analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end-to-end supply chain leadership within a global or multinational environment.
• Strong ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-management skills, with accountability for results.
• Experience managing procurement, logistics, customs clearance and inventory functions.
