Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer will act as the bridge between customers and internal teams, configuring and troubleshooting Hikvision products to resolve technical issues. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in complex networking environments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design project technical plans, including system architecture, function design, and integration.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical defenses to showcase product advantages.
• Communicate with customers to resolve technical problems during project implementation.
• Deliver training and create technical documentation for customers.
• Participate in quality control to ensure solutions meet standards and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably from a reputable university in Kenya).
• At least 2 years of experience in technical support or related field.
• Strong analytical ability to assess customer business and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to client requirements.
