Technical Support Specialist – Automation Systems

About the role

AndyTec is looking for a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to deliver expert assistance to clients and internal teams. You will work on complex automation, control equipment, and software issues, ensuring rapid resolution and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support via phone, email, or on‑site visits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with PLCs, SCADA/HMI systems, sensors, and other control equipment.
• Diagnose issues and give clear, step‑by‑step guidance to customers.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles for common problems.
• Assist clients with installation, configuration, and setup of automation and control systems.
• Offer guidance on proper system integration and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
• 2+ years of technical support or troubleshooting experience in automation or industrial control.
• Hands‑on experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI software, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Familiarity with control system protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and OPC.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks.
