Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

The Warehouse Coordinator ensures safe and efficient movement, storage and distribution of chemicals, raw materials and finished products within the Heineken brewery warehouse in Kilinto. Reporting to the outbound Warehouse Team Leader, the role oversees daily laborers, forklift drivers and coordinates inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining strict safety and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute goods receiving, stocking, loading, unloading and line feed/discharge activities in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movements using the OTIF ERP system, including scrapping, write‑offs and inter‑company transfers.
• Coordinate daily warehouse crew (laborers and forklift drivers) and ensure proper documentation for all movements.
• Conduct regular shop‑floor inspections to verify compliance with Heineken, local rules and 5S standards.
• Report accidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Perform periodic stock counts, reconcile deviations and apply FEFO principles.
• Manage quarantine areas for raw products and oversee surplus chemical storage.
• Identify and propose SHE and sustainability improvement projects.

• Ability to lead and coordinate warehouse personnel and forklift operations.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and compliance.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and sustainability.

Required skills

• Proficient use of ERP systems (OTIF) for inventory management.
• Experience operating handheld scanners for goods movement tracking.
• Knowledge of 5S workplace organization and TPM improvement tools.
• Competence in stock counting, cycle counts and discrepancy reporting.
