Academic Content QA Specialist & Online Student Tutor (Natural & Social Sciences)

About the role

Dirac Innovations PLC and ITSC Support Group PLC have partnered to expand Timiro for Web, a digital learning platform for Ethiopian secondary and university-preparatory students. They are recruiting subject specialists, educators, graduates and high-achieving scholars to support students preparing for the Ethiopian University Entrance Examination (EUEE). Applicants can choose Track 1 (online tutoring), Track 2 (content QA), or both.

Key responsibilities

• Track 1 (Online Tutor): review and resolve student questions, give step-by-step problem derivations, mentor students on past EUEE questions and build their confidence.
• Track 2 (Content QA): audit past national exams, mock papers and practice sets; verify answer keys and worked solutions; check mathematical, chemical and historical accuracy; ensure KaTeX/LaTeX formatting; review slides and flashcards against Ministry of Education curriculum guidelines.

Required profile

• Current or retired preparatory school teachers (Grade 11-12).
• Fresh university or college graduates in Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, Humanities or Education.
• University students with strong EUEE results.
• Tutorial center instructors and teacher education graduates.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Ministry of Education curriculum and past national exam trends.
• Ability to write correct mathematical derivations and KaTeX/LaTeX formatted formulas.
• Subject expertise in Grade 9-12 natural science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Scholastic Aptitude) or social science (History, Geography, Economics, English, Scholastic Aptitude).
