Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for EasyPOS’s business customers in Addis Ababa. Working on‑site, you will guide clients through onboarding, demonstrate the cloud‑based POS solution and ensure they derive maximum value from the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new clients and conduct product demonstrations.
• Coordinate implementation and support customers in daily usage.
• Monitor account performance, collect feedback and report on key metrics.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to meet sales and retention targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
• Maintain accurate account records and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Strong customer relationship and communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Proven sales or business development ability, including opportunity identification and negotiation.
• Basic understanding of cloud‑based platforms and ability to explain technical features.
• Organizational and analytical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in account management, customer success or SaaS/POS sales preferred.
