About the role
Tsehay Insurance S.C. is looking for a reliable Cashier to join its Addisketema and Sarbet branches. The role involves handling daily cash transactions, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, and providing courteous service to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments from clients.
- Maintain accurate cash registers and reconcile daily totals.
- Prepare and issue receipts, vouchers, and transaction reports.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to payments and account balances.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Support other administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Technical School 10+4 Diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a cash handling or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
